No, Om Ah Homes builds homes intended to be lived in full time not temporary, recreational, or seasonal housing. We build to the latest IRC codes (the same codes used for standard foundation houses). If needed, we can build to the codes your city/county requires, just let us know.
Yes, all of our models come with a 1 year warranty. If something should go wrong, then we’ll take care of it.
Maybe, it's true that everything above the trailer is standard home construction built to IRC codes and is the same as building on a foundation, but some counties are more difficult to obtain permits than others. We are currently focusing on tiny houses on wheels (THOW). Note: Some cities/counties will allow a tiny house on wheels to be lowered onto a foundation and consider it "permanent".
